My First 3 Months of Intermittent Fasting Experience
Today I want to write about my lovely Intermittent Fasting experience. But first I want to give you a brief about Intermittent Fasting.
Intermittent Fasting has lots of benefits. What are the benefits of Intermittent Fasting? It improves blood pressure and resting heart rates as well as other heart-related measurements. And the reason why I do that is Intermittent Fasting is that it is the best option for losing fat while maintaining muscle development. So it’s great for weight loss. After approximately 12 hours of fasting your body starts to use fat as your fuel so it starts to burn fat.
And there are some different types of Intermittent Fasting. You can eat for 8 hours and you can fast for 16 hours it’s the best option for beginners and easiest to maintain. If you want, you can increase or decrease the time period of eating or fasting. You can also eat for one day and fast for the next day, It is called alternate-day fasting. To my lifestyle, 16/8 type of fasting is the best option.
During the fasting period, you can’t eat anything of course but you can drink water, plain coffee, and tea (without sugar or any flavor) as much as you want.
So let's say you just started doing Intermittent fasting 16/8 If you like eating I can assure you your first couple of days will be too hard. You will have bad breath and you will hear lots of funny voices from your stomach. I didn’t have headaches but maybe you may. If this happens, just drink water. Drinking water and coffee really helps you.
Let me give you a tip, If you search you will see that eating late doesn’t have any bad effects. In my life, I get up at 7.30 am and go to school then to the gym then go back home. I never felt that I need to eat at school or before my workout so I eat my first meal at like 2 pm. I lost 9 kilos within the last 45 days. You can ask what happened in the first 45 days, everyone should understand that Intermittent Fasting is not magic. It’s an eating plan, not a diet. So still we need to eat healthily to lose weight. You can eat some cheat meals during your eating period but before the last 45 days, every meal was my cheat meal. But if you eat below your daily calorie needs, I can guarantee that it works.
To sum up, Intermittent Fasting is really beneficial and great. Just try it for a week and you will love it. I don’t think that I will stop doing Intermittent Fasting maybe I can increase the fasting period. If you have questions, you can ask in the comment section.
